Triple glazing windows

The triple glazing windows are the extension of double glazing extension.Thus, a triple sheet of glass is a combination of three sheets of glasses with the use of a spacer. In this case, the combinations of glasses are much more. Here are some examples:

Like in double glazing it's the same in triple glazing, based on the choices of sheets of the glasses and the spacers, the outcome is a total thickness of triple glazing. So, a triple glazed 4/10/4/12/5 consists of a single conventional or energy glass of thickness 4mm, spacer 10mm, plus a conventional glass 4mm, plus a conventional or energy glass 5mm. Its total thickness is as the same as the sum of 4 + 10 + 4 + 12 + 5 = 35mm. A triple glazed 5/12/4/14/4 + 3 consists of a single energy or conventional glass of thickness 5mm, 12mm spacer and a conventional glass 4mm, 14mm spacer and a triplex glass 4+3=7mm. The total thickness in this case is 5+12+4+14+7=42mm. The triple glazing windows have better results in heat and sound insulation compared to double glazings. But in this case, the overall thickness and weight of the glass is bigger and that creates difficulites. Actually, triple glazings can be placed in special classes of frames and with the appropriate mechanisms so as to be resistant to heavy weights.
