The Strawberry is a perennial, creeping and climbing but mostly herbaceous plant with hairy compound leaves composed of three leaflets that margins are serrated. The flowers are white, unisexual or hermaphrodite and grow in small clusters starting from the leaf axils. As time passes, the plant roots are woody and root suckers that grow by developing new plants. The fruit of the strawberry is complex and consists of a receptacle having the surface of many small seeds.
